Shankha Prakshalana In Nepal

Shankha Prakshalana is a non-invasive Yogic technique of complete Alimentary canal (mouth to anus) cleansing. This process involves drinking 2 glass of warm salty water and dynamically performing five specific asanas that relax the sphincters and stimulates the peristalsis movement of the intestine letting the water flow forward. This is one round and continued until the intestines are completely flushed through and almost clear water flows on evacuation. In the first phase, the fecal matter is eliminated; in the second only yellow water is passed and lastly, clear water should come out.

Cleansing of the digestive tract is a way to rid your body of toxins and flush out all accumulated impurities from your digestive tract. At the end of the process, one is supposed to feel, light rejuvenated and healthy.
